How to start a business without money when you're working full-time?

I've been stuck in this loop for months now. Have a decent idea for a SaaS product that could solve a real problem I see at work, but between my 9-5 and basically zero savings to invest, I can't figure out how to actually get it off the ground.

I've watched all the YouTube videos about bootstrapping and lean startups, but most advice assumes you either have some capital to start with or can dedicate significant time to building/marketing. The reality is I get maybe 2-3 hours on weekends and I'm not a developer so even basic MVP development feels impossible.

Anyone here actually made it work starting from absolutely nothing? Like what was your very first step when you had no money, limited time, and needed to keep your day job?

RTX 3050 crashing repeatedly

Hi guys , I got my first gaming laptop a few weeks ago , Lenovo LOQ 15IRX9 - please don't judge it I received it as a prize so I obviously didn't get to choose , it has the RTX 3050 6gb VRAM variant, whenever I play a demanding or open world game like God of war, AC odyssey, Valhalla and Where winds meet I get the nvlddmkm error and the graphics card crashes after just 30 minutes I always play at medium or low settings but still it crashes after 30 minutes , it works perfectly fine for those 30 minutes tho

At first I thought it was due to pirated games so I downloaded where winds meet from steam but still the same issue

I would be glad if someone could help 🙏🏻

James did this all intentionally.

Theory : I think James Lee intentionally took the hit from Tom Lee to make Tom look bad, and now he’ll probably involve the police and media against him since James is already involved in politics.

I see everyone hypeing up bolt and lovale right now to build a saas in minutes. Dont get me wrong, it looks cool but I actually stopped using them for my own side projects.

The main issue is you just end up burning through ai credits way too fast. And the second you wanna do something custom, you realize you dont really have full control over the architecure.

My advice is to not build using bolt, instead start from codebase. I went back to just using cursor. Definetly use cursor instead of bolt or lovale. It gives you all the AI help you need but you actually own the code.

If you want to move fast without the AI builders, here is the ultimate tech stack i used:

* boilerplate: i use indie kit. I have used shipfast but its better to go with free kit instead of shipfast. Indie kit is good. that's another debate, but starting from a good kit really helps.
* design: google stitch for design. Literally a lifesaver so you dont spend hours tweaking css.
* core app: nextjs and inngest background jobs for running ai in background.
* emails: ses for emails. Its dirt cheap.
* payments: dodopayments. it handles the global tax stuff and even has appsumo coupon code support.

Honestly it takes a few days to get used to this stack but it saves a lot of money. Like ai credits on bolt or lovable get crazy.

cheers

Quick question for you all though - isn't bolt and lovable over expensive or am I the only one who feels so. Cursor is just 20$ a month + and the kit i use has lifetime access.

PS i am creator of signsetu and got first 12 paid users will write a post about it soon. i am jotting down stuff
