Arizer Solo 3 v2… or wait?

I’ve been exclusively vaping carts for the past 10 years because of convenience and smell (I got kids, don’t live in a legal state, and family doesn’t agree with my choices, so I want to keep it discrete)

That said, I want to make the switch to something healthier. Who knows what’s in these disposable carts I get at the smoke shop…

I’ve landed on the Airzer Solo 3 V2. I think the on demand stands out to me the most, because often times I don’t want a whole bowl at once. I’ll take a hit off my vape and be good for a few hours, and come back when I’m ready.

The reason I’m here looking for advice is mainly, should I wait to see if anything comes out soon? It looks like a lot of the big vapes have been around for a few years.

I’d be so pissed if I spent $300 and heard the Solo 4 or Tinymight3 is coming out this summer 😂

Summary: is it worth buying or should I wait to see if anything else comes out soon?

Dry Herb Vapes

I asked here a few days for some recs to get away from disposables. Sounds like DHV are what’s right for me… but which one?

I’m torn between Rogue 2, Solo 3, TinyMight2, or the Mighty+.

I want a mix of things:
- portability, pocketable
- heavy hitter, strong effects
- convenience, easy to load and clean
- cost, am I going to regret saving money with the Rogue 2?
- optional, but preferred is solo mode. Coming from disposables, I like to just take a quick hit throughout the day, not necessarily smoke a whole bowl at once. I do that too, but not exclusively.

Thanks!

Do I need one?

I’ve been almost exclusively vaping disposables or carts for 10 years. Then it hit me, what’s in these things? So I want to make the jump to a DHV, but can’t decide what device is right for me.

I’d prefer to save some money and go with the HealthyRips Rogue 2, but then I hear all the great things about TM2 or the Mighty+, and wonder if it would be worth spending the extra money.

I know this isn’t something I’m only going to use for a bit, unless it just doesn’t get me as high as disposables or is inconvenient to clean or use.

Side note, I got a dab pen maybe 3-4 years ago but gave up because it was so messy

Thanks!

Budget 28” 3:2? BenQ vs CRUA vs Gawfolk

I’d really like to save $300. But also I can’t find ANY info on the CRUA or Gawfolk and don’t want to waste my money.

This is not for gaming, mostly just watching 4:3 format videos and movies. But obvs I don’t want a shitty picture.

Thanks!

Color CRT recommendations?

I’m looking for something with a 70s vibe, channel knobs, wood grain box, etc. I want AV input for DVD player and prefer a smaller size. Maybe under 20”?

Thanks!

Worth $120?

Found this 20” color RCA XL-100 for $120. They said it works but I haven’t tested. Is it worth this?

26” 4:3 LCD - Arcooda?

I want to retrofit this console with an LCD, like in the sample photo attached. Problem is the channel knob is in the way so I can’t use a 16:9 and crop the image. I need to find a 26” 4:3. I’m leaning towards Arcooda 26” 4K arcade replacement LCD panel, but man it’s expensive

Anyone know where I can find replacement knobs and faceplate? It doesn’t need to be original, just something that looks original

I just got this old console TV that doesn’t work. I don’t want to destroy the inside, but I also don’t need the parts.

I’ve never attempted anything like this before, so here goes nothing! Any recommendations are appreciated 😂

Last picture shows my inspiration.

If anyone in need of any of these parts send me a DM.

Thanks!

Where do I begin taking everything out? Can I just snip wires and unscrew shit?

I just picked this up from a thrift shop for $65. It doesn’t work, but I want to make this our family room TV. I dream of my kids sitting on the floor watching a small 25” screen instead of staring up at a 65”.

Anyway, this doesn’t work and I have no experience with this type of stuff.

What I’d like to do is replace the CRT with a modern LCD screen, but I wish there was a way to keep the curved front glass. Is it possible to cut it off the CRT after depressurization, with a diamond dremel blade?

Additionally, some of the buttons/knobs are missing. Is there anywhere I can get replacements? They don’t need to be original, just matching.

want to give this guy another life, any other recommendations are appreciated.

Thanks!
