Finished Restoring SFII (Modded Centipede Cab)

I’m quite proud with how my very first video game cabinet restoration came out and I wanted to share it with Reddit! It took some time, money, and a whole lot of learning to get it where it is now, but truly was worth the wait! I’m 24 years old and am starting my own coin route business, so let’s see how things go.

I know there are other ways to actually make money, but for me it is also a passion project and a hobby that I want to invest in and be a custodian for these amazing machines so that future generations can play them.

MiSTer Arcade Golden Tee Transformation with CRT

Hey I just joined and this is my first ever arcade project. Curious what you all think. Originally a Golden Tee carnival arcade machine. Powered by a MiSTer FPGA and Toshiba 27AF43. I've never done arcade controls before so since I'm already using a standalone mister I figured USB is best for now. I used a couple Mayflash 700 sticks and I think it works pretty well. A couple 8bitdo controllers too for games that don't work as well with arcade controls.

In the middle is a raspberry pi connected to an LCD that I scripted to loop through top 100 games for various consoles. The coin slot is totally disconnected and from what I understand connecting it is sort of complicated with a MiSTer. Eventually I'd like to have that working somehow and replace the tube with a curved one. Thankfully the MiSTer also has an attract mode so it'll cycle through games while idle as well.

I also realized that this TV is one that doesn't save its power state when powered off, so I had to use a clip on the power button and now it's great. I wanted to make sure that if I were to flip the power off on the entire arcade machine and back on that everything turns on. Now it's good to go!

Looking for a Candy Cab

Im looking for a Candy Cab, Im on Vancouver Island but willing to travel. It doesn't have to be a complete working cab, an empty cab is fine, as long as the entire body, doors, bezels etc are there. I don't mind a little damage either.
