i took a gap year after my A-Levels. So what do I mention in the Present Work/Education/Training Information section? Should I choose unemployed and mention gap yr details in the box, or should I choose other and mention gap year details? took SAT, Duolingo, started an NGO, did a few internships.

I received my acceptance and scholarship in mid-March, and they waited till the very last day to deposit, and even today, they don't have their bank statement ready, which can delay the I-20 and visa process even more.
