Day one, two and three with the reference. Please comment any suggestions.

Starting my first big portrait. And the feature studies I did before starting with reference. The little guy in the corner is just for fun and doing the hair form.

I've seen it on walls, doors, curtains, etc.

Hi this is my first ever still life. I like to hop around while I draw and I want to start the plant but I have no idea how. It just seems like a lot and like too much. I don't know how to start it without drawing every single thing. So essentially what I'm asking is how do I start the plant without getting into the weeds? And also any criticism on how I could improve the things I've already started.

This is my second feature study next up is the actual thing. The ear looks very interesting to say the least
