Salam alkium, if there is issue of dispute around scholars like for example if the pants goes further than your ankle. Majority of scholars said it is allowed some make it makruh and some didn’t. And let’s I took the opinion it is allowed but some brother want to advise me by taking the opinion it is haram to wear pant that goes further than your ankle. There is going to be argument or no argument . How should I approach this type of situations?

Should I complain dean or let it slide. Not big fan of ruining people’s career.
