I keep getting shown posts from subs on the same specific topic, over and over again, even though I have never interacted with them. I hide them, and Reddit says I won’t see more posts from that sub, but the next day they appear again. Posts like “How is my handwriting?”, " What does my habdwriting say about me?" duh. Is something similar happening to anyone else?

Writing assessment for Tutor role

I was called directly for a Grok interview, so I didn’t have to take the tests. But while I was waiting, I tried practising the writing assessment with Grok. It gave me some really surprising and not at all normal advice, such as being very direct and almost harsh, giving a definitive answer when the question involves a choice, and basically being an asshole in response to philosophical or mental health questions. I’m just curious: what’s up with that, was it tripping?

Today I walked a spider

This just happened. I was sitting at my computer when a spider dropped down from somewhere above me and stopped right above my right hand, at eye level. I was like nope, we had a deal! I raised my hand about 30 cm above it, grabbed the thread it was hanging from and slowly walked it like a tiny 8 legged dog on a silk leash. I guess you can say I walked the spider out!

I feel like the latest release was designed to train us, the users, to be precise and intentional. I catch my self thinking how to prompt - not for accurate output - but to avoid reading something that will make me feel like an angry toddler. A week ago I typed "how do you see this proposal? Give me blah blah percentages and blah blah" and it wrote back "I don't have the ability to physically see...". Get a life already

Applied for a role at an international school (Nord Anglia) early March. I’ve previously worked in the same group (different country) and had a good experience, so I was very interested in this role. Earlier in the process, the head of the department contacted me directly to suggest two other roles I applied for, which have since been rejected. The initial application is still under review. At this stage, am I typically still being considered as a backup candidate? Would you follow up with an email or would that be considered too much?
