What’s the purpose of the question “Have you worked with us earlier” in the xai application?

Is it to filter out previous contributors, or the other way round?

I’ve just received a job offer as an AI Tutor. The contract is a "Contractor Services Agreement" (meaning I’ll be an independent contractor, not an employee).

I have a few doubts and I’m hoping someone currently working in this field can help me out:

• Working Hours: In the welcome email, they mentioned that the first few weeks are "critical" and that I need to be "proactive and responsive." In your experience with these AI Tutoring roles, is there a minimum number of fixed hours, or is it strictly task-based whenever you want? Are there set schedules, despite it being a freelance contract?
• Compatibility: I currently have another job. Since this is a contractor role, is it feasible to manage both in the afternoons/evenings, or does it require a constant presence during US time zones?
• Reliability: I can’t find many people with this specific role on LinkedIn. Does anyone have direct experience with this company or with these types of contracts through Remote.com?
• Time Off: I know that as a contractor, leave is unpaid, but how is absence usually handled (e.g., taking 2-3 days off in August) in these types of collaborations?

Does anyone know if tasks are assigned individually, or is it more of a 'first-come, first-served' race to grab them on the portal?

The contract states I can terminate with just one day's notice, which is reassuring, but I don’t want to end up in a complicated situation for a job that might require hours I can't commit to.

Hi all! I started working as an image and video tutor about a month ago. So far, I like the job and the team, but there is something bugging me. I have experience as a filmmaker and video artist, yet I got an offer on the lower side of what is usually payed for. I don't really understand the reason. I met another person who graduated from the same university as me (different specialisation though) and he is getting a much better deal than me, for the same job. I am also a woman. I am based in Europe and it's first time for me working within a corporation or an American company. It's also the first time I work in AI, but I have a pretty good portfolio in my field. Still, I heard a lot about female workers getting a much lesser wage than men, for the same tasks. Did anyone encounter it or do you think they decide based on other criteria? Could the war in Iran be influencing these fluctuations, knowing that my acquaintance was hired 3 months ago, so before everything started...

So I have given a test for an AI multilingual tutor for Xai

Have answered 5 questions and it is saving my responses for about 30 mins 👀 what kind of issue it is .

It's so exhausting to sit in front of this till it saves my responses.

Anyone went through the same thing

What kind of questions did they ask, and what language was the interview in?

I recently accepted an offer and during onboarding they asked me to install a time tracking tool. When I asked about getting a work device, they said I should just use my personal laptop.

I’m on a MacBook and the software does support it, but it’s still my personal machine with my own files and projects on it. I’m a bit unsure about how comfortable I should be installing something like that.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? How did you handle it, and is this generally considered okay?
