Hello everyone:)
My small room needs to cover a bit of everything like sleeping, studying , hobbies... I’ve accumulated a lot of stuff I genuinely love, but the room feels visually disconnected and chaotic. Too many colors, too many different “vibes” fighting each other
What I’m thinking:
•Bringing a plant back (need something actually hard to kill this time, I was thinking in the second shelf from the top)
•Framing some prints above the laptop area
•Something on the wall near the door (maybe one long horizontal piece along the top so it doesn’t feel too crowded)
I’m also open to completely rearranging the shelves (sadly they are not removable), swapping out volumes and decorations, rethinking what’s displayed. Also I don’t know how to use the top shelf as it’s difficult to see what’s up there
What I think could help is a more cohesive color palette (plan to change the mouse pad),I’m considering painting/refinishing some furniture since I can’t afford to replace anything right now
Questions:
Should I try top paint some of the shelves (like the red one to white or black)? Any wall ideas near the door that won’t feel suffocated?
Unkillable plant suggestions?
Dash powers on fine but pressing the start button does absolutely nothing. Discovered that jumping the starter relay directly gets the engine cranking and starting normally, so the starter motor and battery power are fine (even if connect it to a starter it doesn’t change anything).
The first time it happened I gave the bike a little shake and it started again, but from the second time onwards it wouldn’t start at all anymore.
I’ve gone through pretty much everything I could think of: battery and cables, both the old and new starter relay (both work), start button, kill switch, sidestand switch, clutch switch, fuses, fuel pump, main switch, lean angle sensor, and all the relays (headlight, relay unit, turn signal/hazard). Also pulled OBD codes but the only error was a voltage drop from jumping the relay, nothing useful. I’ve also checked most of the connectors and they all seem properly connected, and I couldn’t spot any cut or damaged wires. The only thing that I haven’t checked is the main switch (apparently situated under the fuel tank but I can’t find it)
Completely stumped at this point — anyone have ideas on what else could be in the start circuit causing this? At this point if I can’t figure it out today I’m just calling a mechanic tomorrow…
TLTR: won’t start unless I jump the starter relay directly. Tested basically everything in the start circuit, all good. No idea what’s causing it, mechanic tomorrow if I can’t fix it today
If anyone needs it I have the 2018 manual btw :)
