It's my first bike and so far it's day 3 of riding it!
I can tell ya so far: it's amazing! Even tho it's restricted to A2 (48hp) it pulls quite well and so fun to ride.
Now I kinda wanna get an aftermarket exhaust for it!
Downsized from a v4 Tuono and I have to say this engine is surprisingly characterful. Light enough to feel the torque and powerful brakes. I'm dropping a tooth on the front sprocket as I change between 5th and 6th a lot on Canadian roads, 6th is unnecessarily long. How would I know if the ecu has been flashed? Seems to fuel fine
Bike hasn’t run in over a year.
Battery was dead so I got a new one, installed it, tried to start and it actually did start. But it wasn’t running consistently and sputtering. So I stopped the bike, got everything off and took the tank off.
Then I took off the fuel pump and saw a lot of dirt and stuff stuck in there, took it apart, cleaned it out, put it back together. Put everything back and put some new fuel in.
Hoping the issue would be solved, I tried to start it. (Without properly priming the bike a couple of times) and it wouldn’t. The next day it took it apart again to see if I made a mistake putting it back together but it doesn’t seem like I did. Put it all together again and now I did prime it properly, primed it a couple of times until I could hear there was no air gurgling anymore. BUT the bike still won’t start as seen in the video.
So now what did I do wrong and how can I fix it?
Any help is appreciated, it’s an 2018 MT-07.
I found these spool sliders and was wondering if they would work on my 2026 MT-07. In the description it says they work for 2015 - 2024, but I was thinking maybe its not updated forthe more recent years and will still work for those too. If these ones won't work I'd love to know where I can get some that will work for my bike.
