Dorm rent appears in my Bursar account even though I’m leaving soon

I’m currently living at La Aldea and I’ve already scheduled my move out day for a little over a week from now, which is before the end of May. Today I checked my Bursar account and it shows that I have a new charge for rent. I already paid May’s rent so this would be for June, after I leave. Could this be a mistake on their end? Is it that it will disappear once I leave? Should I try contacting somebody, or is this normal and will resolve on its own?

Shipping a TV across the US, how reliable is the service?

I’m moving across the US and I’m trying to decide what to do with my TV. One of the options I’m considering is shipping it to my new place. However my fear is that the TV will get damaged during the trip, and looking through this subreddit it seems like others have had this happen to them. The TV is $1,500 new so it would be a big loss.

How secure is UPS at shipping items like TVs? Is there a specific service I could use to improve my chances? I know I can insure the package with them, but how responsive are they when it comes to claims? And how should I prepare to make sure they honor it?

Edit: Well it seems like the TV is too big for UPS, so now I don’t know what to do.

Best way to ship a TV across the US

I’m moving places across the US and I need to decide what to do with my stuff. Right now I’m trying to decide what to do with my TV, if I sell it or ship it. My problem with selling it is that the TV costs $1,500 and I’m not very confident I’ll be getting even half of that if I try to sell it. This brings me to the second option, shipping it. My worry with shipping it is that I fear the TV will get damaged and thus end up worse than having sold it for cheap. I’d like to know, what would be my best option for shipping? Are there companies that specialize in taking extra care of their packages? And how good are companies like UPS at honoring the insurance?

Best place to sell a TV?

I’m trying to sell my TV, and although I’ve posted it on FB marketplace and on the Reddit group I fear I might not be able to sell it on time. I’ve never sold anything at a pawn shop or any other type of store that buys stuff. I’ve noticed there are a few placed in Tucson.

- Is there one store or pawn shop that gives better prices?

- Since I’ve never been to a pawn shop I don’t know their system. Will I be able to straight up sell my TV or is it more like a loan with the TV as a collateral?

Electrical Engineering PhD, how often do you have to go to the “main campus”?

I’m transferring to FSU for the Fall semester to the Electrical Engineering PhD, and right now I’m looking at where to look for apartments. I won’t have a car so I’ll have to rely on the school buses, on public transportation or walking if close enough. I’ll be working close to the College of Engineering, and for what I can see that area is very secluded from what I would consider the “main” campus. I would like to know how often I have to go to the main area to determine which bus stops to stay close to. I’ll be transferring a lot of credits, so I don’t expect to take many EE classes, I’ll probably just have the general PhD courses.

For those in the Electrical Engineering, or possibly any engineering, PhD how often do you have to go to the main part of the campus?
