Closing Navi UPI Account

Hello everyone, after a year of using Navi, I want to close my Navi account. Similar to Paytm, where I can close an account and sign up again if needed, I already have more than five UPI apps that I plan to close or stop using to reduce the number to two. However, in the case of Navi, I found that I cant close the account through the app, via chat, or by contacting the Navi Support Team. I have already deregistered my UPI, but there is still this account that displays my name and date of birth, even without linking any bank account. This is because I entered my PAN number while creating the account with Navi. Now, I want to close that account to prevent anyone who creates or logs in from knowing that I previously used it. Can anyone help me with the process, or do you have any opinions?

Thank you in advance for your assistance

Hey everyone,

When I was 15, I needed a bank account for college travel expenses, bills, and UPI payments, so I asked my father to open a savings account in his name linked to my mobile number. We chose Jio Payments Bank and used that account for over 1.5 years.

Unfortunately, my father passed away about 18 months ago. When I contacted Jio Payments Bank customer care to close the account, they kept repeating the same instructions: that the account holder must sign a Xerox copy of their Aadhaar and provide an alternate bank account for transferring the remaining balance. I explained the situation at least four times, but they still ask for the same documents as if they didn't read my

emails.

I wanted to ask for your help-has anyone gone through something similar? How can I legally and smoothly close Jio Payments Bank account when the account holder has passed away? Any guidance or the right process would be really helpful.

Thank you in advance
