HK Travel - First time international Travel

First time traveling internationally to Hong Kong with family (7 adults + 1 child) ✈️🇭🇰

We’re still undecided if mas okay mag-DIY or mag-agency. Worth it ba ang agency for a group this size, or manageable naman if DIY lang? Malaki ba talaga ang price difference and convenience?

Would appreciate advice especially from those who traveled to Hong Kong recently with family or kids:
• Pros/cons of DIY vs agency
• Estimated budget differences
• Tips for first-time international travelers
• Mas okay ba mag-agency for smoother IO/itinerary experience?

Thank you!

Hi everyone I’d really appreciate some honest advice.

I’m currently working as an admin VA and I’m looking to shift into tech, specifically cybersecurity. I recently came across a program from Mapúa and I’m considering enrolling, but I’m not sure if going straight into a degree is the best move.

For those already in the field:

  • Is a cybersecurity degree (like from Mapúa) worth it for someone transitioning careers?
  • Or would it be better to start with certifications (like CompTIA, Google IT Support, etc.) first?
  • How realistic is it to land a cybersecurity role without prior IT experience?

Would love to hear your experiences or recommendations, especially from anyone who made a similar career shift. I see a lot of cybersecurity people, na you do not need a degree in CS, to land a career here.

Thanks in advance!
