What if Cyrus set on a journey to become Pokemon Champion
I always thought about it that what if cyrus set on a journey to become Pokemon champion instead of becoming world domination psychopath. As from the conversations from people from Sunny shore city and his grandfather in fight area, he was a genius and bright child who was anti social and had a keen interest in machines. But due to abandonment issues and not being good enough feelings from his parents, he became a world domination maniac. Even his grandfather's dialogue indicates remorse and regret of not providing him help during the time of his need. So I decided to playthrough platinum with his team and make him a Champion in a parallel world.
First, I used to cheats to change the starter to magnemite to make this playthrough viable. I also added murkrow in eterna forest like in diamond through cheats since it isn't available in platinum. I added magnezone as his 6th member since in manga, his two of aces are magnezone and probopass. And magnezone covers his crippling rock weakness with it's steel type. Lucian and Cynthia's lucario gave tough time. Had to use full restores but it was kinda fun for the playthrough.
