How to fix this annoying gap?

This annoying gap has appeared between the metal part of the temple and the plastic part. It keeps snagging on my hair when I take them off. I took them to the store and they "fixed" it but the gap came back just a couple of weeks later.

I thought of filling the gap with thread and a drop of super glue. Does anyone have another idea so that I don't potentially ruin my glasses?

Bit of a weird question but if I put a single cotton ball in calligraphy ink and had it soak in the bottle of ink will it dry up super fast?

Basically I like calligraphy but I hate having to go against the lip of the glass bottle after every time I dip my pen. I have the idea to add a small cottonball in the jar and have it entirely soaked in ink but also not too soaked so that when I dip my pen, it absorbs the excess, removing the need to rub the pen on the lip. Wouldn't that be neat! Except if it causes it to dry in a week, and I've ruined a perfectly good bottle of ink.

I have not bought ink or cotton balls yet so I wanted to know if anyone has tried this.

I found these in my chicken for tonight's dinner. Is it safe to eat? 😭
