Joyride Group Ride! Tickets, Saturday, May 30  •  9 AM - 2 PM

Hop on your bike and join us for the Joyride Group Ride – good vibes and great rides ahead!

Come roll with us for a Joyride, a gravel group ride co-hosted by Rebe from RebeExplores and B & Lauren from Queer+ Bikes! Whether you’re a seasoned rider or just in it for a fun, social spin, this ride is all about getting outside, connecting with community, and enjoying the (gravel) road together.

We'll have 2-4 pace groups depending on RSVP numbers, with options between 10-14mph average. The current route is 33 miles / 1100 ft elevation and is subject to change closer to the ride date depending on weather or other factors. We'll provide a ride file a couple days before.

Come at 9:00am to socialize and make sure you have everything you need and be ready for ride announcements and giveaways at 9:15am with rides leaving at 9:30am.

Drinks for purchase available at Bean Cycle Roasters before and after the ride.

Bring your bike and gear, and come ride with us. Carpooling or riding to the start is highly encouraged. Street parking and parking garages nearby, please make a plan before you come.

All are welcome!

Expectations:

  • You are responsible for you! While this is no-drop, we do have specified pace groups, so please ride within your means. Additionally, please have a back-up plan and someone to contact if you have a bike failure that can't be repaired, take a fall and can't complete the ride, or don't want to complete the route for any other reason.
  • We ask that you show up with kindness by being a great cycling steward, assume good intent, and exhibit responsible group ride etiquette by communicating and being predictable.
  • We ride with the general mantra of come for the bikes, stay for the community: We might get a good work out in, or we might be soft pedaling and making new friends, above all we’re here for joy

What to bring:

  • The route loaded on your phone or navigation device
  • A working bike (don't forget your ABCs - check your tire pressure, your brakes, and lube you chain)
  • A helmet
  • Enough nutrition & water for your body and needs
  • Layers (and somewhere to put them)
  • Sunscreen - It's Colorado, enough said!
  • A good attitude
  • Extra tube (even if you're tubeless)

Fort Follies Cycling Club, Fort Collins CO 2026 Follies Day Rides

We had over 50 riders show up for 2 road and 3 gravel ride and then pizza... I love this team!

Last night our dog was barking like crazy and I thought I heard someone on the porch, I opened the door and looked but didn't see anything. This morning the poles of our pride flag were laying in the driveway and our pride flag is gone. We get a lot of college kids passing by and I'm hoping it was just a dumb prank but I really hate that someone did this. I filed a non-emergency report just in case.

I lead a ride every full moon (when it's warm enough) on the gravel trails and roads around Fort Collins with the Fort Follies Cycling Club.

Come learn the ropes of tandem cycling! Eyecycle is co-hosting a Tandem Expo at Da Vinci Designs from 10 AM to 4 PM.

Never captained a bike before? No problem. This event is designed for everyone, from those who have never touched a tandem to seasoned captains looking for a little extra practice. Come meet the team, get comfortable on the bike, and see what Eyecycle is all about.

Location: 1264 S. Jason St., Denver

RSVP/Questions: Sue at sue@teamspirit.net

Please see the Ride Schedule page for the latest information on rides this year.

Visually impaired or blind tandem cycling is what makes our group fun… you never know where you will end up. Only kidding!

Our group consists of sighted “captains” (front seat of the tandem bike) and we team them up with a blind or visually impaired “stoker” (back seat of the tandem bike).

Captains and Stokers make up an Eyecycle team.

We schedule varied rides during our cycling season. Our ride schedule is from May through October. We ride approximately every other Saturday/Sunday for 20 to 40 miles, using the incredibly well maintained Colorado trails and try to share and communicate its natural beauty.

We sometimes venture far enough away to have overnight trips.

We offer a variety of rides for all levels of experience and fitness.

2019 Triple By Pass ride

Eyecycle Colorado is a partnership of cycling, communication, and fun! Have a look around the site and you will see what YOU can become a part of.

I rode the Gravel Time Trial loop today and omg it was dusty and lots of too fast cars on washboarded roads, but still beautiful.
