Feedback on safety improvements along Shields (Lake to Stuart)
A great opportunity to provide feedback on how Shielda from Stuart to Lake should be redesigned. This includes the intersection at Shields and Prospect, which is one of the most dangerous in the city due to the mix of bikes, pedestrians, and high speed traffic.

I lead a ride every full moon (when it's warm enough) on the gravel trails and roads around Fort Collins with the Fort Follies Cycling Club.
Hey y’all, what’s the Foco Fondo vibe like? It’s the first event I’ve done, I usually ride solo, and I’m pretty new to town. I know I can clip in and wear my lycra, but could I also go with flats and a tank top? 38mm tires on drop bars, or 43mm in a more upright party posture? Are there people that ride more casually, or is everyone “racing”? I’m doing the 60miler, and the distance and terrain are no problem. Just wondering if everyone takes it as seriously as the promo videos make it look. Thanks, looking forward to it!
I found a white Trek bike over by lemay and prospect today. It’s been sitting on the corner by Axis academy, across from Sprouts, all week. Having had a bike stolen from me when I first moved out here, I aim to get it back to its owner. Please DM me if you’ve recently had a bike by this description go missing.
In addition, if anyone has some recommendations on how else to share the word or what else I can do, please let me know. Thanks!
