I haven't seen anyone post yet about doing a color swap for the MacBook Neo keyboard. I ordered the official keycaps from the self repair site for $38 in Indigo and I have the silver Neo. The normal square keys were super easy to replace but the other larger keys aren't as simple. If I were to do this again I'd either only replace the letter keys and have a two-color keyboard or I'd spend the extra money to just buy the full keyboard replacement with the keys already installed.

Overall for $38 I think doing a color swap on the Neo is a fun DIY endeavor but be warned that the brackets are extremely fragile and you could easily break something if you don't know what you're doing.

I'm considering ordering a bottom case plate in a different color since that only needs a couple screws to replace. I'd love to see someone swap out all the parts in different colors. If I end up buying a new MacBook later I might do just that to this one as a hobby project.

(Photos) The official Chinese xteink website (xteink.cn) has useful tools like a full wallpaper creator that has the correct resolution for each device and you can even export it directly to the reader. Also there is a to-do list tool that I remember someone in this subreddit asking about and a calendar creator. There's also more information on the S4 and even 3D models to look at. I don't know why these features aren't on the international site, but I was surprised to find these useful tools there. (pages auto-translated into English by browser)

I've fallen upon this kind of book recently where they have a silly or weird premise that sounds like it would be AI slop or throwaway pulp trash, but turns out to somehow be perfectly executed and well-written with deep philosophical themes and expertly crafted prose.

I just finished these three:

Sky Daddy - about a woman that has a romantic and sexual attraction to airplanes and hopes to die in a fiery plane crash. This novel is somehow incredibly well written and sincere

Paradise Logic - about a woman that decides to become the world's best girlfriend at all costs. It ended up being a funny and excellent deep dive into gender roles and relationships.

One's Company - about a woman that uses her lotto winnings to live inside a perfect recreation of a TV show set. It's literary with perfect prose and explores trauma, identity, and healing.

Are there any other books like these that have a weird setup but are actually deep and well-crafted and not just surface level?
