The MacBook Neo is the iPod of notebooks. In fact, it might be Apple's first just for FUN product since Steve Jobs died.
Bought a Neo to replace an aging iPad a few months ago. Overall I love it. I use it lightly to browse Reddit and other social media, read news apps, etc. In the past couple weeks I've noticed that I have to restart Safari pretty much every morning, at least once, as Reddit hangs on me. After a restart it's fine. Typically nothing else open except Safari and maybe Music. What's going on?
I'm interested in monitoring the system, I’ve tried several similar apps, but not satisfied, some of the powerful apps need to purchase for full features, I don't like an app with some features unavailable (even I don't need it). So I built this app, then I built the one for myself, after iterations, I decided to release it the public for free, hope you enjoy!
Looking forward your feedback!

Process Doctor is a native macOS 14+ process monitor (Apple Silicon and Intel). It shows live system activity and a parent–child process tree, with rich per-process detail and optional menu bar monitoring. Your process list stays on your Mac—nothing is sent to the cloud for monitoring.

ive always been a HUGE fan of the iconic macbook start up sounds, i have been thinking of buying a mac neo, and i havent found any videos where the startup sound can be heard, so to people who have the macbook, does it have the iconic chime when booting up the neo, thanks!
Hey everyone — this is a bit outside my comfort zone, but I wanted to share something I wrote.
It’s not a review of the MacBook Neo, more of a personal piece about how it connects back to when I first got into Apple and tech in general.
Would genuinely love to hear what you think.

Do you notice a difference? I've left it turned on but I'm not even sure what it all throttles. First mac and coming from my iphone I can tell when it's on because it reduces the screens refresh rate but I don't think it does that with the neo.
Hey all! Mainly Windows user, haven't used a Macbook in years or anything besides iPads/iPhones for a very long time. I just got a Macbook Neo and I completely understand the limitation of the Macbook Neo so no worries there.
That being said, I have a laptop cooler and ready to just maximize this for gaming, emulation etc with those limitations in mind. Is there a list of tips, tweaks, etc to get both native gaming and Windows/emulators/maximizing performance to start? Thanks!

Any thoughts?
Almost all Tech Gurus rated it as the best, I am hoping some of you have bought it and experienced it first hand, do you guys think this is the best value laptop you have used?
