yesyes i know something being "best" is completely subjective and everything have their own pros and cons. my nephew is graduating soon and his mom hinted me hes been wanting a new keyboard for ages now (i think size wise he prefers smaller ones) so i took it up as my mission to get him the best possible in 2026. he's been deep into custom keebs and osu and basicaly spends his weekends lubing switches and filming sound tests.

make sure its like futureproof atleast for the next few years so i wouldnt be hearing anything about him wanting an upgrade any time soon. the keyboard should be the best bang for the buck as i got the money (max budget $200), but obviously dont wanna overpay for useless features or "brand" name. should i just pick the best option on some top result blog website? he's pretty knowledgable himself on the keyboard topic but yk asking him personally would totally ruin the surprise..
