Found some old school rims on Marketplace for this truck, just finished up installing all the smog related items to pass! After I get done doing body and paint on my 1986 K10, and my wife’s 1988 K5, I’ll learn to replace a few panels on her 1976 K10. Square-body Family
I bought this a few years ago and now have time to tinker with it. The truck came with 3/4 Ton Axles and I put a 4” lift on it to accommodate 33” tires. Engine stock and is running a little rich for smog in requirements in California. Almost have that figured out, rebuilt carb and about to put a covert Carb Cheater on it. Next will be paint and body work which I am going to attempt on my own. The shell will come off for summer cruises.
I unfortunately live in California and the foundries have all been closed probably due to the stringent restrictions by environmental groups. Does any one know where to get the steps dipped?
