I generally get ghosted by girls even if we match completely. I tend to feel it is due to sudden and deep attachment that sets in real quick, but idk if it is really that.
Recently, a week back I and a girl older started texting from comments to DMs. We where extremely similar and could relate to past trauma. She was really kind and I tried my best to reciprocate equally. I am into older girls and this time it switched from that to more of a platonic friendly chat. Everyday.
We used to text about everything and share opinions on various topics. She was truly more mature and smart due everything she ever went through in life and I truly admired that in her. She mostly refused to share things while she was in mental and emotional pain and would prefer listening to me for mins or maybe even hours. I genuinely love being a listener and only try to help people out when they are in pain, I try my best to keep the other person as comfortable as possible and ik the deepest secrets of my friends this way. This habit strikes in especially when I overshare and they listen like never before and I feel guilty for not helping them out with their problems.
So after a lot of convincing she agreed to share things with me to make her feel light hearted. Once a few days back I had vented out all my anger towards few ppl on reddit in the form of rants, and she somehow got fed up and scolded me instead, I knew that was unusual and that smtg wasn't right the other side. I apologized and mentioned why I said all that, she even forgave me. Now after all this we where talking all normal and nice, we where completing the lyrics of classic songs, and that day after a while I asked her if she would ever think of dating someone younger, it went straight to considering us dating. She optimistically told that I would get the right one and she's not meant for me. Then I even mentioned how she could let me know if she felt uncomfortable and I would never pick that convo up ever again, and also that I preferred being honest instead of acting creepy with feeling bottled up. The convo then shifted to intimacy, which was actually mature as it was about intimacy through speech. Then it shifted to past and everything. She opened up abt what she thinks and what happened related to this and everything, I was happy that she was sharing. Then I mentioned how I was quite strict when it came to relationships in terms of quality time spent productively and everything.
Guess what guys, the girl who I had asked to let me know before ghosting or express any sort of disappointment if ever faced, decided to straight up BLOCK me.
Idk if there's a problem in me or is it that i and the girl get attached very much. I feel so bad and disappointed in myself rn for trying all the things for the other persons' comfort and happiness only to get ghosted or blocked. Also this is the second time this is happening in this month
