Which Ubuntu flavor should I choose for this laptop? I want something that will bring new life to the laptop and make sure it’s lightweight and functional.
This is my mom’s old laptop she used for work. it had windows xp. It’s an HP laptop, and it was from the mid to late 2000s. these are the only pictures I have of the laptop. It‘s silver and has silver keys. in addition, it has a weird camera layout and there are blue leds above the keyboard. Sorry for the bad pictures but there’s a personal thing on the laptop. HP logo is on the left side if that matters. The bottom side of it is black. so it’s a two tone Laptop. Just wondering if anyone could identify it?
I’m planning on using some old Dell Optiplex PCs to build a Windows XP and a Windows 7 PC (2). Where can I found official installers for Windows XP, Vista, 7, etc.? I would also like to know if you can still activate legacy Windows versions. I have installed ISOs before, I just want to know how I can do installs with legit OEM Windows versions that can be activated still.
