Alpha is a haunting yet flawed body horror allegory

Did anyone see Julia Ducournau's Alpha yet? NEON just dropped it on VOD yesterday suddenly. There are parts of it I really liked, but it's a very, VERY heavy movie and allegory of the AIDS pandemic that also packs in a lot of other ideas. I just want to see what others thought of it....
