The nasalisations which are currently deemed obsolete once used to be pronounced in Telugu. Even the name of the language was Telungu or Tenungu at some point, so the literature from the past used to have this Arasunna when it was written (noticed it in Annamayya Sankirtanalu), has it been preserved by the translators and publishers or have they dropped it as it has become an extinct feature today? This sound is still pronounced in my dialect of Tamil Nadu Telungu.
