Did getting your ADHD dx help your anxiety?
I have been diagnosed with anxiety some years ago and I am currently in the process of getting assessed for ADHD. I feel like my anxiety has been a coping strategy so far (for example, planning excessively to avoid forgetting anything, overworking to make sure I complete everything way before the deadline).
I'm wondering if, for those who were in a similar situation situation, getting diagnosed with ADHD helped you to develop healthier strategies and therefore lessen your anxiety?
