I recently launched my own app and I’m happy to say I just crossed 0$ MRR!! What a roller coaster it’s been.

Now, if you too bought your favorite indie hacker guru ebook and don't even remember where you stored it, Librost is for you. you can aggregate all your digital library in a single place, in the cloud. No more trying to find that email with the attached pdf. No more losing track of that 40$ course you paid for a few months ago (that you never read of course).

Easy and simple:

- Upload your files (any format)

- Organize them (update metadata, add tags, include multiple versions and auxiliary files)

- Retrieve and download them any time you need them, anywhere you need them

I just finished a first version of an app I started some time ago. I'm a developer and I buy many technical books. Many of those books come either from humble bundle or directly independent websites. I avoid amazon as much as possible. Considering the amount of locations I had my ebooks stored, I decided to build an app to aggregate them.

It's not a goodreads style of app or a reader app. It's more like a dropbox but specifically for books.

At the moment it does not have a ton of features. Users can upload books, search through them and download them later.

A book can have multiple versions (epub, pdf, mp3...) or whatever auxiliary files you need

I have two storage options in the app: either in app or external. In external mode, users can use their own storage providers. For now I just have dropbox but I'm planning on adding google drive next and I'd like to allow plugins or something so that people could even connect their NAS and such.

I'm trying to find a few people to try it out so if you're interested DM me and I'll set you up with an account. I would appreciate any feedback specially if there's a feature you wish existed.
