Long story short, I was a dummy and added too many actives to my routine and now my barrier is compromised on both my face and neck. (More frequent acne breakouts should have been my first warning sign.) I’m down to just using a gentle cleanser and moisturizer until it repairs, but any advice on how to deal with continuing acne breakouts during this time period? Since I obviously want to stay away from actives for a while, do I just deal with having pimples until I’m fully healed? My skin type is very oily and acne-prone.

Transracial adoptee here who grew up in the U.S. Back in the 80s it was the norm to just raise your adopted child as if they were white, despite the fact they were from a different culture. I’m not up to date on the current adoption system, but are they more strict now? Do prospective parents need more education/training and/or therapy before they can adopt a child?
