saw this post on reddit and was wondering what this mousepad is called and if anyone have used it looks cool but how does it perform?
Been slowly tweaking my setup over the past few weeks and I think I’ve finally hit that sweet spot where everything just feels right. Swapped a few things around for a cleaner look and better comfort - added a monitor light bar (honestly underrated), cleaned up cable routing, and went with a darker theme overall. The lighting is subtle but makes late-night sessions way easier on the eyes. Also tried out a larger desk mat and didn’t expect it to change the feel this much. Way more consistent mouse movement and it kind of ties the whole desk together visually. Still thinking about upgrading the monitor next, but for now I’m pretty happy with how this turned out.
Finally got the last missing piece - the mousepad - and it honestly tied everything together way more than I expected. The whole setup feels cleaner and more dialed in now.
Super happy with how it looks and feels, especially during longer sessions. Think I’m done upgrading for a while… at least that’s what I’m telling myself 😅
Been testing a bunch of different mice lately and something kinda unexpected stood out - the mousepad matters way more than I thought.
Same mouse, same settings, but the glide and stopping power feel completely different depending on the surface. This one feels really balanced - smooth tracking but still easy to control micro-adjustments, especially noticeable in flick-heavy games.
Also noticing less inconsistency in sensor feel compared to my old generic pad.
What mouse + mousepad combos are you all running right now? Curious what people think is the “perfect” pairing.

Trying out a new mousepad in my aim training setup recently. Didn’t expect it to make much of a difference, but the feel during tracking and flicks is actually pretty noticeable.
Not sure if it’s just adjustment or something long-term yet, but it’s been interesting so far.
Would like to hear what pads people here swear by for Kovaaks / Aimlabs consistency.
