Hi everyone,

I’m 16 years old and I’ve been prescribed oral minoxidil 2,5 mg, but I can’t find where to get it or which pharmacy sells it. If anyone knows where I can buy it or how to get it, please let me know.

Right now, I’m only using topical finasteride 0.25%. I’m wondering if I should stay only on finasteride or if adding oral minoxidil is better.

I can’t use topical minoxidil because I have three cats, and I’m really worried about their safety. I’ve read that even small exposure can be very dangerous or even fatal for cats, so I don’t want to take that risk.

Also, do you think it’s better to wait for new treatments that might come out, or should I start oral minoxidil now before things get worse?
