Just built a new rig with a 9800x3d and a 5070 ti.
My current gaming monitor is 32in VA panel @ 165hz and HDR10.
60' desk with probably like 3ft depth?
Thought maybe I should upgrade to see how much fps I can pull out of Warzone when I play with friends.
-I also play a lot of single player and survival games.
- maybe 70/30 single player vs fps games
Problem is, based on available options in my price range (max $400) it feels like I'm getting pushed toward a 27in monitor.
I want high frame rate 240+, and good response time. (I hear VA panels aren't the best at this, but don't have anything to compare against)
This brings me to either an IPS panel or an entry level OLED.
Both seem to have more plentiful options at 27 inch, but finding anything at 32 in is difficult.
Can't ask if I'll personally hate going down to a 27 since it's all relative, but anyone with some thoughts on this very 1st world problem might help me make a decision.
