Mad to see compared to new(er) simulators

This distribution cabinet door is open (I have already reported it) but I wanted to know if the equipment is water resistant so if it rains before an engineer fixes it will my Internet go down and would it be the case of replacing the equipment if it did get water in which i assume would take a while. My main worry is bunch of school kids mess around with it and mess it up.

Unfortunately I cannot afford a new TAG for myself but luckily enough my dad let me inherit this old 1980/90s 1000
