Know any Iloilo coffee farms or sources using caged civets for civet coffee for research

Hi everyone,

I'm currently conducting research on civet coffee production and am interested in understanding where and how civet coffee is sourced, particularly regarding the use of caged civets.

Does anyone know of coffee farms or suppliers that use caged civets for producing civet coffee? I'm looking for specific locations, companies, or farms that are known to practice this.

Please share any info, experiences, or resources you might have.

Thanks in advance!

In Hell, Laughing, and 'Couldn't Breathe': George Floyd's Family Blasts Tony Hinchcliffe and Kevin Hart's Joke

During Netflix's 'The Roast of Kevin Hart', streamed in May 2026, Hinchcliffe delivered a line that quickly spread across social media. Addressing Hart during his set, he said: 'The Black community is so proud of you... right now George Floyd is looking up at us all laughing so hard he can't breathe.'

The reference to Floyd's final words during the 2020 police restraint in Minneapolis drew immediate condemnation online. Critics argued the joke trivialised one of the most widely documented deaths in modern American policing history, particularly the repeated phrase 'I can't breathe,' which became a rallying cry during global protests following Floyd's murder.

JK Rowling 'Not Thrilled' as Trans Politicians Join Scottish Parliament—'Everything That The Hateful Despise'

Scotland's Parliament has entered new territory with the election of its first transgender MSPs. Yet almost as quickly as the result was confirmed, JK Rowling redirected attention towards a defeated candidate known for opposing trans rights legislation.

The election of Dr Q Manivannan and Iris Duane on 8 May was widely viewed by supporters as a watershed moment for transgender representation in Scottish politics. Both were elected under the banner of the Scottish Green Party, with Manivannan representing the Edinburgh and Lothians East region and Duane securing a seat in Glasgow.

What kind of “broken but funny” are you leaning toward, more existential and quiet (like feeling out of sync with everyone else), or more chaotic and absurd where everything is falling apart but in a ridiculous, laugh-so-you-don’t-cry way?

Roughly 1,500 beagles are now at the centre of one of the largest coordinated dog rehoming efforts in recent US memory. The animals were acquired from Ridglan Farms in Wisconsin through a confidential agreement brokered by Big Dog Ranch Rescue and the Center for a Humane Economy. The price has not been disclosed.

'They started within an hour or so coming up to us, wanting attention. Some crawled into people's laps. Every single one of them is super sweet,' she said, reported by The Guardian. 'I think they are loving the attention. I just know they know they're safe.'

Elmer, a kitten rescued from a glue bucket, finds a new home with his foster carer after a miraculous recovery. He arrived unable to breathe properly, unable to eat, and only minutes from death. Five weeks later, a tiny Texas kitten now called Elmer has been adopted by the woman who helped nurse him back from one of the grimmest animal rescues seen this spring.

An Arkansas education director who prosecutors said turned a classroom into a humiliating arena for child abuse has been sentenced after pleading guilty to orchestrating what officials repeatedly described as a 'makeshift child fight club.'

According to the probable cause affidavit, Morrison instructed the child to sit on the floor while surrounded by 18 other juvenile students. Prosecutors said she then directed the group to place their hands on the child and strike the victim with an 'unknown object.' The recording also showed Morrison herself placing her hands on the student during the incident.

The episode lasted roughly 30 minutes. Deputies said it included a teacher instructing one child to hit another 'in the private area.'

Senate Bill 73, formally titled the Online Age Verification Amendments, requires websites hosting a 'substantial portion of material harmful to minors' to verify the age of users accessing those platforms from Utah.

Sponsored by Sen. Calvin Musselman (R) and Rep. Steve Eliason (R), age-gating laws are not new. Several US states have introduced similar requirements, prompting major adult sites such as Pornhub to block access in protest rather than collect sensitive identification data.

Users, predictably, found the workaround quickly. VPNs.
