Currently, I have a 5 year old Dell G3 but Im looking to upgrade as its battery has basically died and its very heavy to carry around (gaming laptop bros will relate)

I was thinking of the M5 macbook air but im not sure it can run the software and programs this course needs. Any suggestions?

Went for interview on 20 march and still no reply or email from them. Just gonna assume im rejected and give up
