Best Burrito(s) in Midtown? (2026)

Hey there,

With restaurants coming and going and food standards changing I wanted to ask about the best Burritos in Midtown these days.

I like to take my bike or scooter around midtown to try different food spots, and definitely consider myself a foodie.

My ultimate favorite food is Mexican and I could easily clap a burrito daily. I’m looking for recommendations on the grid or close enough to bike from the grid.

My go to is usually Chita’s as it’s good and close and a fair price. I would definitely hit Tacos 65 or Tequileros Taqueria more if it was closer (not to mention the bomb taco stands like Los Perrones)

Places I’ve tried:
- Chita’s (Q st.)
- California Street Tacos (16th st.)
- Taqueria Jalisco (16th st.)
- El Rincon (T st.)
- Tres Hermanas (K st.)

So I bought my first cards via a booster box today and pulled this… now what do I do?

Sorry I don’t know which flair to use, looked at the rules and didn’t see a breakdown. Apologies.

I’m stunned I found a rare card.

I haven’t been into TCG/CCG since you-gi-oh and Pokémon were first on the scene. I know you can get cards graded. My wife is running to the comic shop for penny sleeves and semi rigid sleeves (as that was what I read was recommended to do first), but is grading a must? Or good idea? Can some experienced collectors give me some advice?

Thank you in advanced!

Hello r/artcommissions community,

I have been working on a tabletop game for 6 years, and I'm looking for an artist to illustrate in the rulebook. Here is an example of a tabletop game made by Games Workshop from 1999 called Mordheim. I'm looking for something similar in tone & placement (e.g. varying sizes of art often done in the margins, or framing the text), not necessarily the same amount of artwork or the same amount of detail (most likely half or less than half the amount of art in this example is what I'm looking for). I was actually looking into a style more similar to dark sketches (black & gray) that would less detailed than the example I provided. However, I'm very interested in an engraved/woodcut style and would prefer this, should such an artist present themselves.

The rulebook is still being written (and it's structure will most likely change throughout playtesting), so this commission would be something that may actually come into play later this year instead of something more immediate.

I wanted to touch on tone again. This game is very Dark Fantasy, with a tone probably most similar to Dark Souls. The game takes place in a pseudo-European medieval universe where humanity is scarce, and the environment is desolate and full of terror.

My budget is not yet set, and I'd like to preface this section with the fact that I am not familiar with art commission pricing, and apologize in advance if I am wildly off in any way. This game is a huge part of my life and is something I'm more than willing to sacrifice for. The ruleset and resources for the game will be made free to all. I am more interested in sharing this with others than I am interested in making money. Because of that, there is no budget or expected funds to be made off of the game itself to pay the artist, instead I will be personally financially responsible. I say this as the budget would most likely be driven by the artist willing to take the project on. I would say as a starting point my budget is probably somewhere between $400 - $700 (If I didn't just pay for wedding expenses I would have hoped to allocate more). Like I said though, I'm looking for the artist to help me hone in on a more accurate price as I don't wish to offend by low-balling talented artists. The goal is to also set-up a patreon after release so that the community can donate if they wish to support the game's updates or to simply support in general. A percentage of these donations would also be given to the artist if the artist is interested in working as a team on illustrating any supplementary books (e.g. Bestiary, Campaign Book, short stories and poems, etc...) in addition to cost of additional art.

If there is any other additional information I could provide that would help those who wish to inquire, please feel free to ask. Also please make sure to inquire here as a reply as I will not be responding to any unsolicited private messages.

EDIT: Wow, I did not expect to get so many replies, and I apologize for not yet replying back. I've been looking through everyone's comments and truthfully I'd be lucky to work any one of you talented artists. It is all very amazing and I'm still reading comments and scanning through links, I thank you all for taking the time to comment and show your interest. This is a fantastic community filled with great artists.

Got this email from parking enforcement (I live in Midtown), that essentially says we are able be to ticketed because of the city's lack of resources to process renewals and new applications.

They could have easily extended the validity of our current passes until they are able to complete the processing. The part that is even more irritating is the only solution to get it sooner is to take time off work to come in and hopefully get it in person.

Nakimura's about to have a field day
