After the 2.1 update - 7X

This is for those of you who own a 7X that experienced driving the car both pre and post update. I'm in New Zealand and yet to het the 2.1 update.

What is have noticed tho, tjat the ride quality is exceptionally poor on cruise control. It isnt smoot and feels like the car is jerking like it is accelerating and braking to maintain speed.

I notice this as I also drive a Polestar 2 and the ride quality in that car is perfect.

I did wonder if this is related to all drive versus front wheel drive in my Polestar.

Another thing is the vehicle distance when on adaptive cruise control. It just doesn't seem to work at all - just keeps a really big distance between me and the car in front which i see other cars on the road to change lanes and take that gap.

Cheers.

Hi, I have solar, 20kwh battery and an Evnex E2 EV charger. I made the mistake of leaving the car plugged in after charging from excess solar then once the charging schedule kicked in on the charger, it dumped the whole battery into the car and then started drawing from the grid. Subsequently I had an empty battery in the morning. I dont want to do that again particularly at this time of the year when it is not til after 9am that I start generating enough solar.

After discussing with Evnex, to avoid this i need to rewire my charger to put it on the other side of the gateway. Not prepared to do that given the amount of work and so the other option is to change the Evnex and put in a Sigenergy 7kw AC charger.

Does anyone have one of these and are you able to charge your ev at night without draining the battery. A google of this seems like I can get what I want with the Sigenergy charger buy changing the settings in the app. That sounds right given the integration but obviously I cant see these settings because I dont have the charger.

Cheers.
