Creating a product catalog - How many items per page?

Our company sells general merchandise, similar to say a combination of harbor freight, dollar tree, general stores, etc.

I am looking at updating our current product catalog and I know I over complicating this by thinking too much into it. However, I'd like to hear the thoughts of those who may have some thoughts/input on how you decide how many items you put on a page, in a column, in a row, etc.

I was thinking of doing something similar to what harbor freight does for their fliers, which ranges between 2 / 4 / 5 / 6 items per row with maybe 30 items per page?

However, I have also seen catalogs from other companies that sell similar items have ~6 items per page.

I've also seen some layouts where everything is organized relatively neatly per row/column and other ones where it appears to have no defined lines and it's like they were putting items in wherever it could fit.

Condor airlines bait and switch flight prices?

Seems like this happening for a lot of flights I am searching from LAX to Frankfurt.

1 - A lower price is displayed on the main flight selection page, but when you click to go to the next page to confirm things, the price will suddenly jump.

2 - When selecting certain flights that seem like they are a good deal, it will give an error saying that the selection can not be processed.

Anyone else seen this issue with Condor? Is this a common issue with this airline? I have used different browsers, devices, and most of these prices are showing for several days/weeks, so it doesn't seem like it's a matter of it not updating.

OM-D EM1.2 batteries that have a USB-C connection directly on the battery?

Bought a MFT camera to be more compact but ended up with one that comes with a charger and cable that's bigger than half the size of the body of the camera haha.

I've seen some aftermarket batteries for other Olympus cameras with the USB-C port directly on the battery.

I know a lot of people aren't fans of aftermarket batteries, but I just want as minimal amount of things to bring with me when traveling.

Looking to add a weekly deals section to my store.

What do you guys find is the best way to do this?

Go in and change the price of the item and add a compare at price and add a tag to use to link it to a deals/sales section?

I am coming from a Nikon D750 with a 70-200mm 2.8 to a Olympus OMD EM1 Mkii with a 12-200mm lens. The main goal was to get something that was portable for travel and its macro bracketing system, so I am 100% happy with it for the reasons why I bought it to begin with.

However, the more I use the MFT, the more I feel like I want more from it. I am just afraid that if I start trying to chase the performance that I am used to with the D750 that I will end up back where I started, in the sense that I am now spending more on lenses, lenses start getting bigger again, etc.

The 12-200mm lens I have on the Olympus is actually tack sharp to me. I couldn't be happier in that department. However, it's just the low light performance of the combination of the lens and body that is the area that is what I wish was better. Of course, I knew this going in to it though.

Looking for suggestions on how to get the most out of the MFT, which I feel like would mostly end up being lens suggestions, but I am open to hearing any thoughts.

With the low light limitations, I was thinking of instead of trying to get better low light performance that I would just lean in to it and maybe use filters that gave a more vintage/film look. I haven't played around with filters or post editing like that before though.

I am at a company that has existed for 20+ years and never had a website or even any online presence other than from resellers who bought/sold our product.

I've convinced them to start building an online presence. However, of course, at this point, the domain for our company name has been taken and registered a long time ago to another company.

Changing the name of the company isn't an option at this point, so I am curious to see what others on here have done when their domain was taken without resorting to changing their company name.

The company sells general merchandise items. Almost like a blend of harbor freight, dollar tree, general stores, etc.

I was originally just going to go with [company]inc.com, since I thought something was better than nothing.

I work at a company that is very, very, very old school. It's like they were stuck in the early 2000s.

We own the trademark for our name, but for whatever reasons at the time, they didn't register a domain and never had a website. I've convinced them to at least get one created and as expected, the .com domain name is already taken.

Next closest would be using a .org or simply adding inc at the end of the company name, so it would read [companyname]inc.com.

Leaning towards just going with the inc at the end and calling it a day, since it's better than nothing.

Looking for thoughts from those who deal with and look at domains and may know better than me.

For example, I have a image section/block I want to add to the main page.

What is the method or how can I figure out what is the optimal size to use for the various image options that are available between the different blocks and adjustments such as when setting the height (adapt to image / small / med / large, etc).

Right now it seems almost like a guessing game of going back and forth testing the different sizes until it works, which is a bit time consuming.

The drive client on one of my computers had a SSL certificate expired warning today that I had to renew by simply typing in the password again.

I was trying to figure out a way to set it so that I don't have to renew the certificate again.

My searches showed that I could go to control panel, security and change the certificate settings there.

However, I can't seem to find the settings or options to change that would affect SSL expiring or not.

Is there a free Shopify theme that has a side bar that also displays all of the product categories?

The ones I have looked at so far only seem to have filters displayed on the side bar.
