Do I still need to know German if I plan to study in English

So I want to apply to some German universities next year and the program I am looking into is offered in English as well.I have an English language certificate.I am willing to learn German and plan to start studying soon but I don't think I will get to the necessary level till next year.

So is German required for English taught programs?

What are my chances of getting into ADA?

My stats are

SAT 1460

IELTS 8

GPA 5/5

I got 258 at buraxlish but I haven't studied for block at all and I know I will fail it.I also study in russian and expect around 80 from my Azerbaijani language exam.

I want to get into ADA and study there for a year and then apply for European colleges but it seems like everybody who got there scored at least 1500 at SAT.

I did look into UNEC but in their site they mentioned that they accept students on the basis of SAT only if they studied in English during highschool. Does anybody know if I can still apply?

What if library of Alexandria continued to exist?

I know that the library wasn’t destroyed in a single fire and that most of the books stored there had copies elsewhere. But it seems to me that the library’s main advantages were:

  1. The fact that all those works were kept together, and scholars had access to various sources simultaneously
  2. The funding provided

So my questions are: What kind of influence would the Library of Alexandria have had if it had continued to exist, and were there any similar libraries during the Middle Ages?
