Does anyone have any advice for a student paramedic about to start their first clinical placement?
I am mostly terrified of forgetting everything I learned in the sim lab the moment I actually have a patient in the back of the truck

I’ve had pretty mixed results with it tbh. The career services side seems good for resume checks, LinkedIn advice, interview prep and all that, but most people I know who got solid internships mostly did it themselves through networking, cold applying, or just spamming applications everywhere. Feels like QUT gives you a few tools and job boards but you still have to put in all the work yourself. Has anyone here actually landed a really good internship directly through QUT support or uni connections?
I’m struggling with the Math in Finance 101 unit this year. I was told it would just need decent numeracy skills, but some of the formulas feel way more advanced than expected. I’m not sure if it’s worth paying for a private tutor
I am a first year and I have a 9 AM lecture tomorrow that is also being recorded for Canvas. I am struggling to find the motivation to trek into campus just to sit in a half-empty hall
I’m moving into my second-year finance subjects and honestly, the jump looks a bit intimidating. First year was a lot of broad theory and group projects, but now that the math and Excel modeling are ramping up, I feel like I'm actually starting my degree. For those who've done it, is it a massive spike in weekly hours or just a shift in how much you have to focus?
GP Library Level 3 is okay, but I feel like I'm in a fishbowl. Does anyone have a secret low traffic spot they’re willing to gatekeep slightly less?
