hey guys I’m a 19 year old international student who’s about to get my license next week. I am a college student a im looking for a car to be able to get around as my area is not well connected with public transportation. I’m looking at a 2009 Camry or 2013 Mazda 3 hatchback but the insurance quotes are insane. The car will be in my name and nobody is willing to put me under their insuranc. does anyone know where I can find a reasonable quote that’s not $400+ a month?

Hey everyone, I’m just looking for some advice and a bit of perspective. As the title says, I’ve been having a really difficult time with my roommate. We were actually friends at the beginning of the year, but since second semester started, things have become really strained.
For context, she works a pretty demanding schedule - Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday from 1pm to 12am, and Sunday from 6am to 5pm. The issue is that she doesn’t communicate her schedule with me, so I never know when she’ll be coming in late or waking up early. I’m a light sleeper and prefer to sleep early, but she often comes in around 2am making noise, and then wakes up early, turning on lights and opening the blinds while I’m still asleep. It’s been really disruptive. Another issue is that she’s not very approachable, so having friends over feels uncomfortable. I used to ask if she could step out for an hour so I could hang out, but lately she’s been snappy about it asking a lot of questions about who I’m bringing in and making it feel tense.
Lastly, this isn’t a huge issue, but it’s been bothering me she’s started dressing very similarly to me and even bought and wears the same perfume I use daily, which feels a bit strange. We’re college dorm roommates, so I understand compromise is necessary, but I’m starting to feel really frustrated.
