I got my wisdom teeth out almost 2 months ago and since the numbing meds wore off, I haven’t gotten feeling back in my bottom right lip and teeth. I’ve gone back to the oral surgeon for multiple check up to try and fix it. He put me on a round of steroids that didn’t help and now he’s put me on gabapentin. He wants me to start taking in once a day and build up to 3 times a day. It’s 300mg. The pharmacy didn’t want to give it to me at first because those instructions seemed not right but talked to the dr and they allowed it. Has anyone heard of taking gabapentin for nerve damage?
