Software developer to PM
Hi everyone,
Is there anyone here na who changed role from Software developer to PM roles?
Im thinking to shift to PM roles. Im 31, with 6 years hands-on experience sa software development. I cannot see myself na mag code and solve logical problem the rest of my career haha nakaka drain eh!
To those na may similar experience, could you please share? I also consider lots of things like: Is it fulfilling in the long run from problem solving to managing, will AI replace PM roles in the future, what are the needed skills as PM, sahod comparison ng soft dev and PM?
Currently, taking my masters in Tech Management. Yellow Belt Lean six sigma as well. Parang I’m literally preparing myself to be PM haha or i would say career backup. Hahah
