Hey all, id like your input on this issue im having. Bike struggles to crank with a brand new fully charged battery (YT7B-BS) or jump or on trickle charge. Holds charge fine when running its just voltage drop to starter when cranking. The sound you hear is the rad fan hardwired on.

In the second clip i am probing the relay, third clip i am probing the starter itself.

As you can see voltage drops significantly when cranking but it will crank and start eventually but the connections get hot especially starter wire.

If you have experienced this please provide your input and what your issue was, thanks!

Hey all i am looking for some input on this before i start buying stuff. Was tuning the car revving it and all that, did when warm and did not overheat, oil nut secured. M54B30.

After i was done messing with it some redlines etc, i let it idle for a few mins to let it cool, it sounded normal. then shut it down and let it chill for about an hour.
Came back out to the car, started it and this new noise just started out of nowhere. Like rotational scraping or small knocking or like bearings rattle but its from the REAR of engine not the vanos.

So far ive checked cams/lifters none are scored. Plugs were a bit dirty but not bad. No new DTC codes thrown. Camera into cylinders to see NO contact has happened.

Sound increases speed as rpms increase, also changes slightly with clutch pushed in. Brand new clutch and throwout bearing 200 miles ago. First vid was the initial warm startup, second clip is a full cold start.
