Townhouse Electric Bill Question

I’ve lived in one side of a townhouse for 3 years now with my boyfriend. The monthly electric bill was around $70. When my sister and her three children moved into the other side for 2 years, my monthly electric bill was in the range of $120. Now that she’s been moved out for a month, the electric bill is $60.. is there a way to backtrack and have someone come out and track how the electric is split up? Can we get some of that money back if they decide we’ve been paying a bit for both sides? I fear we’ve been paying a lot for the other side’s electricity instead of just our own. Any suggestions?

i’ve lived in the same city my whole life. i’ve faced things in this city that i don’t want to deal with anymore. i don’t belong here but this is all i know. the life i’ve always dreamed of living involves friends, a chosen family, a job that makes me feel good and pays me enough to live, a loving partner full of effort, and time to pursue my passions. i have no friends or family right now.

i had plenty of friends in school but they’ve moved on to bigger, better, incredible things. i feel so stuck and small and worthless but i know it’s up to me to change if i don’t like how my life is going.

i want to find an affordable and diverse city to live in. make friends there. join clubs and groups. i want to go to school, i love working with people but those jobs tend to pay little. at this point i just want whatever helps me make a happy, stable life.

for those who grew up somewhere with little support and completely flipped your life around to be how you wanted it to be, what did you do? what would you have done differently? tell me your success stories, please. give me hope!
