Heya so i saved up enough money to buy a tablet however one problem.

Im having an Issue on deciding which one to buy, the xiaomi pad 8 pro or the oneplus pad 3.

On the local online stores here in the Philippines that sells the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro are from lazada the legit xiaomi stores. Only problem? They are 8+256 specs only while i want the 12+512. Well there are ones from other online stores(that have good reviews and lots of buyers) they are only China Roms(not a fan of bloat ware and I love my security tyvm and i heard even if i set up google on china roms the hidden apps under China roms can slow the device down). My last choice on buying the 12+512 version of Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro are the Matte glass versions which is global rom from the official Xiaomi Store in Lazada. another problem? Im not a fan of Matte Glass, cause Im planning on adding screen protector as well.

Then i saw Oneplus pad 3, which is good but lacks some features(Especially the fingerprint) of the Xiaomi pad 8 pro. The 13 inch screen is a bit of an overkill for me as Im mainly after the specs for gaming. And yes they are global rom they are also near the same price.

But if some of y'all got step by step tutorial on how to properly set up a china rom Xiaomi Pad 8 pro.

Hey, i just wanted to share the unfortunate daily occurrences of my life. Y'all can call me Sean, i just turned 18 recently last week.

So yeah. I was born in a pretty shitty family, where when you accept something from someone its like you owe them your life. My day to day life consumption consist of deep insults, impressive gaslighting, and inconsiderate blood relatives.

Well it basically all started in 4th grade, My family left town and moved to another and live under my Grandma(Motherside) due to financial issues especially since my Grandad just passed away. Everything went sh*t from there on out. Unreasonable insults, disciplines that seemed too harsh, and rules or norms that seem too neglect my mental well being as a child. Time passed, I didn't mind all those beatings and abuse much since i was a kid back then who didnt know better. Graduated 6th grade and was about to start 7th but due to the pandemic I had to attend online classes instead. We moved again this time my Grandma from my fathers side and Oh boy did it get worst. I was getting insults, beatings left and right by my dad, and despite my Grandma telling my dad off he would still continue with his abusive nature a few days later. During covid my only happy places were mobile games minecraft, roblox, and such. And i met friends online who treated me lovely. I told them about my situations and they got concerned to the point i met up with one of them whose named Aira turned out to be a girl(i thought she was a boy). I had an amazing time with her, Going around the streets, she taught me how to ride a bike, I taught her drawing, and going home late after having fun with them was basically a dream even tho it would be normal for most kids my age that time. And those days I was slightly less cautious since my dad works as a truck driver, So get to go home without worry about being scolded.

That was until i got caught.

He came home early due to the company he was working for calling off the delivery, he caught me being dropped off by my front porch by Aira. After that i was scolded, insulted, beaten, and even locked in the bathroom at one point. He broke my phone which was already in a horrible condition, and threw it directly at my face. I just stood there, staring at him because he broke what made me happy in this hellish family he brought me in. Time passed, Mom told Aira about what happened. Despite her insistence on seeing me well, my Mom didnt let her. I was around 14 by that time and i was in the brink of depression. I started scratching my wrists till they bleed, ate less to the point my ribs were showing, and talked less from then on. Oh yeah, btw while those dramas were happening my mom got pregnant and gave me a little brother with caused more chaos in the house than there already was. I was also getting abused by my Uncle who uses me for his convenience, makes me wake up in the middle of the morning to open the gates for him when he arrives, and when something doesnt go his way he blames it on me and punches me in his sleep. And my Parents? They act like they dont see or hear anything. It got so bad to the point, i flinch when someone touches me in my sleep. One day i was sleeping in the living room(cause i didnt have a room around that time.) then I felt someone punch me in my thigh and as an instict i kicked. Hitting my dad in his fore arm but keep in mind that kick was so light it felt like it was a tap rather than a kick. I woke up to a angered demon infront of me, he took my phone(a new one i bought using my money i worked hard for) and threw it across the room smashing it. Once again breaking the one thing that served as my escape from my harsh reality. He didnt beat me or smack me, but that hurt more than it shouldve. For some reason, I grew the balls to scream out to him "why dont you kill me as well while you're at it?" I wasnt mad, I was just broken to the point I didnt care what would happen next. And a few moments later I was in a situation where i was getting choked by my own Dad, getting hit by a literally stick thats used to hang our clothes, getting punched all round my body, slapped on my face which left my face bruised for the next few days. And that wasnt just it, i thought he was done with me, i was already badly bruised and beaten by him. He stood up and went to the kitchen as if he didn't just nearly beat his own son to near death. He came back with a knife on hand, he strangled me again againsts the floor held the knife close against my neck and said "I dont care if im going to prison, Ill be relieved knowing you'll be dead you useless F*ck". But my Grandma got home miraculously in the nick of time and pulled him away from me, but my neck still bled slightly from the edge of the knife grazing me. A week passed after that, i barely talked to my dad. The scar covered by a scab that the knife my own dad held again my neck, the moment kept repeating on my head. That he would rather kill me than accept me, that he would beat me instead of comforting his already depressed and miserable child, that i was just a bother to his world like i didnt mean a thing. It was crystal clear to me ever since that day that, He doesnt care one bit about me. Leaving me to his equally abusive f*cking brother who uses me to his convenience.

I wanna continue this story but maybe in another day.
