Shipped 2 weeks ago. Real-time AI interview copilot. Captures audio live, transcribes the question, surfaces STAR-format talking points the user can read aloud.

Stack:

- Chrome MV3 extension + Electron desktop companion

- Whisper for STT, Llama + OpenAI for generation

- Supabase auth, LemonSqueezy billing

- Audio in-memory, overlay rendered on a layer screen-share APIs don't see (Zoom, Teams, OBS show a clean call)

Architecture I'm proud of: the overlay invisibility took 3 weeks of fighting Electron window layers before finding the approach that worked. The AI was the easy bit.

Biggest mistake I shipped: a v1 that occasionally hallucinated the interviewer's name into answers. Nothing like "Hi Mark" when the interviewer's name is Sarah.

Pricing:

- Free: 10-min sessions with unlimited live answers, no card

- €29 Session Pass: 3 credits of 2 hours each, mix and match however

- €59/mo Pro

Plot twist: Reddit Ads killed my campaign for "facilitating illegal, fraudulent, or misleading behavior." Apparently €29 triggers their policy team. Meanwhile the $15M a16z-funded competitor in the same space scaled fine on TikTok and X after DMCAing a CISA security researcher who exposed 7 vulnerabilities in their product. Wrote up the full breakdown on X with sources if anyone wants the receipts.

Distribution post-launch has been brutal:

  1. Reddit Ads: banned (above)

  2. Reddit launch posts: 4 attempts, 1 mod-removed, 1 auto-filter-removed, 2 underperforming

  3. Cold email to TikTok creators (for affiliate program): 50 sent, 0 replies

  4. TikTok cold DMs: rate-limited within 24 hours

As a founder how did you get your first 100 paid in the b2c category?

Solo founder in B2C career-tech space. Paid ads keep getting category-banned (AI-adjacent tools in this niche reflexively get rejected). Cold creator outreach has been brutal too.
