This is like the second post I’ve made on this but essentially my twists don’t look the same anymore. They don’t fluff up anymore and just kinda stay thin, they don’t look as aesthetic as they used to. Mind you I’ve had the same stylist for last 4 years so idk if my hair health has changed e.g loss of density or she’s changed her technique. Either way I’m contemplating a big chop and restarting hoping that will fix it. But before, I thought I’d come here and ask for more advice

Recently whenever I get twists they can sometimes be quite thin and stiff on the day I get them. This didn’t used to happen. Also I understand sometimes maybe it needs to marinate but i remember the last time I I got them it didn’t thicken at all they just kinda stayed thin. I’ve kept the same stylist aswell. Is there something wrong with my hair?
