It was a shame that Jyggalag wasn't in Skyrim, why do you think that is from an in universe perspective? Do you think has no interest mortals or is he still reorganising his library after Sheogorath messed it up.

Assuming Bethesda continues the trend of having one Daedric Princes reserved for an expansion, which one would you like to get this treatment in the next game?
Personally:
Malacath seems like an obvious one considering we think the next game is likely to be in Hammerfell and High Rock which would probably also include the orcs. I'm not sure what would happen in this but it seems lightly.
Peryite the prince we know the least about and is often sidelined. I think you could get a really cool story out of him spreading a plague that we have to deal with, and getting to understand just how he affects the balance of nature in the background in ways that are omnipresent but we just don't think about.
Mephala my favourite it's very cool however there are two potential limitations here, one you have an entire expansion that would be a nightmare for people with arachnophobia, and two as a god of secrecy, plots and murder any story with her might end up being too close to the dark brotherhood. But she so cool I love her.
Namira I have a massive soft spot for this disgusting creature, her quest in Skyrim is one of my favourites and an expansion about leading, or hunting a cannibal cult would be really cool.
And lastly the only correct answer Sanguine, wouldn't you just love to mantle the god of gooners. Imagine a stoner comedy where you and your new bestie Sanguine have to go on an adventure to get his realm of oblivion back.
As has been noted Bethesda has been slowly removing references to sex from their games and covering up female characters as more than the previously did. It wasn't so bad in Oblivion or Skyrim but but it became noticeable in fallout 4 and most especially starfield, a galaxy in which I do not believe anyone has ever even conceived of the notion of sex. The conventional Wisdom here is that their watering this down to appeal to a wider market, the same reason that they might shy away from more extreme violence or controversial subject matter. However, it has become increasingly clear ever since the advent of game of thrones that sex is not the controversial turn-off that it perhaps used to be to mainstream audiences, and of course The Witcher, cyberpunk, and Baldur's Gate 3 have all shown that sex and romance can be done in video games and have them be smashed successes, they've even shown how to sexualized female characters in a way that doesn't really upset all but the most sex negative individuals. So what is it exactly that Bethesda is afraid of?
It really feels like they're running away from something that isn't actually a problem but they've convinced themselves will turn off a wider audience.
Edit. As I have been talking to people I've realised that fallout 4 was probably a bad example and I was mostly talking about starfield in comparison to earlier Bethesda games. And to be clear I don't think starfield is necessarily hurt by a lack of sex it's just something I noticed and was curious why Bethesda wasn't capitalising on the more recent trend in RPGs of being more open about sex when it seems like leaving money on the table to me.
So I know modding the remaster is harder than modding the original but I'm still curious to know if any large-scale mods are being worked on for the remaster. I know that there are many modders out there that are genius is that can do incredible things that were thought impossible with the base game, so I'm intrigued to know just what the potential for modding this game actually is, or is the future looking bleak on that front.
Like what will our character be this time equivalent to the Dragonborn, Nerevarine or Hero of Kvatch. I know Sword-singers are thrown around as a suggestion by people but is there anything else you can think of.
I was thinking maybe the Dwemer could come back and we have to stop them doing something with the Numidium.
I also thought maybe Yokuda might rise up out of the sea and we find out what sank it and have to deal with that.
Reachmen?
Sea Elves?
Goblins?
Nimphs?
What would you like, and why?
So I was listening to the quote for Michael Kirkbride about what Cyrodiil was originally supposed to be in oblivion and how Tod Howard ruined it. Whilst I really like a lot of what Kirkbride had in mind for Cyrodiil and think it would be great for, say, a book, (sereasly why aren't there more Elder Scrolls books) I'm not sure how people who championing this version of things think it would be implemented in a game in 2008. Like sure the art style could have been better, more inline with morrowind, but the way they describe the Imperial city seems like it would never live up to their expectations.
I'm playing morrowind for the first time write now and I often hear comparisons to Vivec, and whilst it's interesting and bigger than the Imperial city, bigger isn't necessarily better, Vivec is in fact pretty repetitive even if the lore is very cool. I don't see how the miles and miles of rice paddies surrounding this gigantic city were supposed to be implemented in Oblivion, it feels like what we would have gotten if they'd stuck with that would have been a few small farming towns around a slightly larger imperial city that still wouldn't have been satisfactory. And the thousand cult thing is very cool but again what does that actually mean in terms of the game, there is definitely a better way to do the imperial city than what we got but the way people talk about it seems impossible to me.
