Serious question. Reptiles like alligators and turtles are cold blooded. Can they live in the sewers or is too cold and not enough Sun?
I was just thinking about the urban legends of alligators in the New York sewer system (and mutant ninja turtles) and occurred to me that the lack of sunlight or warmth might make it impossible for them to live in a place like that but then I saw a nature documentary about some crocodiles that live in an underground cave system in Africa. Thought I’d ask the experts.
