Walking foot users- Can you share your resylts on slippery fabric?
There are many results online or in youtube showing the results of different brands of walking foot on denim, leather, other fabrics. Most show the results for quilting as well. However, there is literally none, thats shows the effectiveness of walking foot on slippery fabric such as satin and chiffon(and their stretchy counterparts)
A walking foot is recommended commonly for slippery fabrics too.
People who already own a walking foot, can you kindly share your results with us if you have any spare satin or chiffon fabric laying around? It could be just a small piece. Simple photos that show the result with and without a walking foot would be really appreciated :)
Plus it could help people who are thinking of buying a machine spesifically for these fabrics too. Because that way, they can compare the effectiveness of different brands of walking feet. As far as I know different brands of walking feet have a slightly different working mechanism, they could very well have a different effectiveness between different brands, for these kind of fabrics.
